I always thought a 57 gasser should have the rear wheel wells carved out with the slicks sticking out. It's so much easier than narrowing the reared and tubbing the car. MM made the 57 as a hardtop (no B pillar) so I changed that to make the car look more like the cheaper and lighter 210 model that many drag racers used. Some other details to check out are the highly modified front bumper, engine set back, Moon tank, tubular front frame re-enforcement, aluminum rear window, six spoke front wheels.....
The second 57 drag car I am working on should be done in a couple days.
