Wilcox asked me to post this here so everyone can see what I was able to do with some buttons bought at Walmart, he wants to add it to the Custom Archives
Since I seen Shawn put baby Moons on that Black Rat rod he did...which looks awesome, I been on a mission to make some or find something that would fit. Well I spoke to the guy who made them and he did tell me how they are made..but it's a secret that I cant tell...lol. So today I was in Walmart scoring some Chip Foose Cars M2...( got 2 ) and I went into the crafts dept. and found these stainless steel button in 4 diffrent sizes, so I bought all the sizes. I came home and checked to see if they fit..and Wa La, they fit perfect. Bigger ones for the rears and he smaller ones for the front. I tried them on a Rat Rod I'm going to work on but I put them on a Willys to see, and they fit perfect. It's in the Muscle Machine Forum..others have bought them and they do fit..just sharing what I found. Good Luck and hope to see some posts of the cars you put them on..They look great on the Coupes, Roadsters and I'm going to try a 49 Mercury and give it that Bonnieville Salt Flats look.
