I've had this car sitting on the hobby bench for a while, been wanting to swap out the wheels on it.

The plan for a simple wheel swap, became a project.
I had at first thought of just putting some GY7sp on it, as this would be an easy swap out. But, I didn't like the
look of the larger rear wheel and beside I wanted lettered RR's on it, so digging through the wheel donor cars,
I found a set of RR Goodyear Eagles off of a Kyle Petty Nascar .
The casting was designed for the staggered wheel size and just swapping out the wheels with all same size wheels,
would cause the rear end of the car to be lower than the front, and just didn't look right.
The channel for the rear wheel axel had to be deeper, so ....

Actually quite a bit deeper, so I could set a axel tube into it.
After that, just a matter of filling in to keep it rigid.

You can see the aluminum axel tube sticking out slightly on both side, the wheels roll smoothly and evenly.
As you can see, by doing the above steps, the car now sits with a nice level stance.

I'll add some paint accents later, but I'd say she's ready to go to the track.
