Since the first time I saw these cards I liked 'em. I started out making big trading card type things with /em.
Then somebody mentioned folding them to display loose cars on them. I wish I could tell ya who it was. But I ran with that idea. I cut the top square and used 2 pins to pin it to the wall.
First I took some .060 poly (being a sign guy, I had some handy) heated it up with a bic, and bent it on a 90 degree edge and put double back tape on it.
Then taped it to the bent card, pinned it to the wall and put the car on it.
Now I've moved on. I cut the car out, put a strip of double back tape on the car and taped it to the back of my file cabinet. But wait, I'll probably destroy it if I peel it off, so better yet, why not use a strip of sheet magnet! (being a sign guy... lol) Just double back tape that to the back.
Here's the stuff I used.
And here's how it looks.
I personally hope the art never leaves the card, I'm having alot of fun with this. Now if I could just get them to move all the artwork above the blister to keep the picture clean. I wanted to do the armored truck but it gets wrecked by the blister.
Anyone else doing this stuff?
