I am not educated on the 25th anniversary pieces. I checked the short list page at Airland but I didn't find any information.
There were many old castings available in a variety of colors. They were sold in single BP's and apparently in box sets. (borrowed images below)
My questions.
1. What castings were available in the single BP?
2. What castings were available by other means? (multipacks, mail-ins, store exclusives, if any)
3. In your opinion, were certain colors of some castings harder to find? Do you think that it was a regional situation or the result of production quantities? Or do you believe that it is just folklore that some colors were rare?
4. How do any of these race? I can guess with that none of them are contenders though because I rarely see any of these at downhill races. But how do they race against the average basic assortment Hot Wheels car?
