This basic 1/24 scale Acura Integra Type R model by MotorMax is one of my least favorite models. I like the 1:1's looks and styling quite a lot, but this
model was sorely lacking in so many areas that I just had to do something to try and improve it. The first step was to blacken around all the windows and joint
lines. Then make the side mirrors black. This certainly helped, The wheels were blackwashed, the interior detailed, and the pan engine colorfully marked. The
nicest feature has to be the exhaust tip which was made from a piece of chrome-plated brass tubing. Although difficult to cut with a small hacksaw, the effort
was worth it. Now the model is at least tolerable; someday I will strip and repaint it. Another point, I am not real enthralled with the graphics by the folks
at MotorMax. Thanks for looking!
