1- The same reason you seem to tear me down each time you respond to my posts- To Piss You Off!
2-Because I can. Its nice to be able to search Mapquest or Google or get information while I am out.
3-Since I don't have a home phone, There is no internet connection on my computer right now, so this is all I have.

Have I justified my presence enough? Or do you need a note from my mommy?

As for Flash, cellphones don't mix well with it. I am not a fan of it since it also never was very compatible with my computer. IMHO, Flash has very little purpose, other than to make things look pretty. More often it gummed up my system and made a mess more than doing anything worthwhile. I do not "heart" it.

Since I was the only one who mentioned browsing by phone, I have no option other than to believe your comments are directed at ME. Technology by itself would not be able to respond to your arguments, so I have doubts that technology is whom you were addressing.

I'll let the above post speak for itself. Nuff said on that.

To clarify my initial point on the topic:
My post was not to disrespect Russ in any way. I just wanted to point out that not everyone reaps the benefit of Flash, and in fact, some of us get booted when Flash is present. Thus it might be helpful to make a store website user-friendly on various platforms, or at least offer a Bypass option where Flash is used.

I'm simply not a fan of Flash, because it bungs up my browser(computer, cell, laptop, you name it) 90% of the time and when it does work, there's very little payoff other than a pretty picture that can be manipulated.

In most of my experiences, the payoff hasn't been worth the effort.

I'm aware that the picture can sometimes make or break the sale in the online world. But, sometimes a bad experience with a malfunctioning program might force a shopper to avoid visiting an online retailer's site a second time.

It is certainly worth thinking about. Personally, I am fine with 1 or 2 well taken pics, that don't take forever to load. Flash- meh, I could live without it for now.

Don't get me wrong, I think its nice, Russ, that you added a new feature. I just thought that went without saying.
