Hey Darren, I got the email. here is what I sent you this morning.

Osaka was a cool place. I didn't find any stores with anything special where I did go. Yodobashi Camera in the Umeda area was cool. They have way more than cameras. They have a pretty cool toy and hobby section. Down the street from that there is a store called HEP with a giant ferris wheel on top that has about 300 shops. Thats cool too. I collect Japanese Toy robots too so thats what I mainly looked for.
Don't let the ferris wheel fool you though, there are 3 of them there. Those shops are by the Umeda train station. I stayed in the Nanko district at the Hyatt.
I would post in the HWC Customs section as there are a few of the Japanese guys there that live in Osaka. One place I have seen pics of online was called "Brave". It has Hotwheels there and many other diecast & cool hotrod type stuff as far as toys go. I have seen about 5-6 pics from poeple that went there, but that was after I got back so it was too late. Another place is Den Den town. They have many toy shops of all kinds.
Hopefully you get this in time, but it really doesn't help TOO much depending on what you are looking for. Like I said I have been a collector of anime & japanese robot toys since I was a kid. So Japan was pure heaven as far as that was concerned. Have fun bud.
