I just floated around for the early years sometime in the late 80's. Memory says that I was on some 'Redline' information sites back when I was just searching sites. "Club Diecast' was the precursor to HWC and I was there prior to the changeover to HWC. I was on MJB wheels for a period and Redlinesonline early on.

The early HWC club was fun at the begining. I got a kick out of the rabble rousers and the internet teckies that were there in the early years. I will even admit that there was several childish 'tet a ta's that amused me as I really like the individuals on both sides. The early growing period of HWC/RLC was most enjoyable. Amy was a talented internet developer and to be my friend yet the hassles she endured with other top notch collector friends were classic. Chas66, Mercster and Whitewall Junkie as well as others including JOE were amazing.

Mattel has regulated it's HWC into useless chatter. Just like their current diecast offerings, they have made the boards passe' and make you always measure your words and attitude.

I think I met Joe at a HotWheels convention in L.A. I may have also met Robinator (STDC) there and added personal contacts with them at both the Dallas Nats and the only regionals ever held in San Antonio. Friendly attitude with great knowledge has its attraction.

This site is the collection of all that is good for internet social sites. It has a tremendous layout, exceptional people/collectors and board moderators that help rather than hinder.
