Gary, thanks for the tip about powdered Teflon spray lubricant. I have some six-footers that are tight. Maybe that will do the trick.

Anton, thanks for the kind words! I spent months thinking about what is most important to downhill racing. My family enjoys downhill racing very much. All four of us took home a trophy this convention! Definitely a very fulfilling week! Again, your kind words are very appreciated!

I think that Anton meant that he made a 50' set-up with only one connection, not one connector. It takes two connectors to connect under each lane of my dual lane track.

As for logos and products appearing in a film. I have no idea what legalities apply to these situations. I don't have first hand knowledge regarding communications between Beyond Productions (Mythbusters) and Mattel. But one of the very first things that the Production Manager told me (after introductions to the crew) was that I would have to change my shirt. I was wearing a HW Convention T-shirt. I let him know that I was aware of the restrictions and that I wouldn't be wearing any "logo" Tee's.

...I can't wait to see pics of the working Starting Gate and the Finish Line ... of a 100 lane, 25 foot track!!!! ROFLMAO!!!!

I have done some calculations and the track would be about 21 feet wide :)
The start gate is possible but I don't know about a finish line winner indicator. I'd do it just for the fun of it.

Steve, we will work something out. I have put the track into a 26' box that I lovingly refer to as "The Coffin". The track pieces will be kept flat, shaded, dry and safe. I have other responsibilities for the next week. I have parties this weekend too. As soon as possible, I will see how I can ship them.
